About TheDustyRebel | Daniel Albanese

Daniel Albanese is the New York City-based photographer known as TheDustyRebel.  Focusing on the more marginal aspects of the urban landscape—very much shaped by his background in anthropology—he has built a worldwide following through documenting controversial artworks, political protests, and urbanity. In 2013, he gave a series of lectures on street photography at Wheaton College, as part of the Techpaths Lecture Series and the Evelyn Danzig Haas Visiting Artists Program, and his work has been acquired and displayed via The New York Times, Life, The Huffington Post, Gothamist, The Atlantic, Artnet, Artinfo, solo exhibitions, and his own blog, among other sources.
