Museum
Hidden away on Cortlandt Alley, where the boarder between Chinatown and Tribeca meet, is perhaps the smallest museum in NYC. Simply called Museum, it houses a collection of strange objects and artifacts from around the world. The Museum’s “Season Two” just recently opened and features Fake Vomit from Around the World, Tip Jars collected by Jim Walrod and The Rocks and Tools from Tom Sach’s Mars expedition. And not be missed, the shoe thrown at George W. Bush at the Minister’s Palace in Baghdad in 2008 - part of the permanent collection.

Freeman Alley
Overheard in The Bowery: “This would be a really nice area if there wasn’t so much graffiti.” Imagine what they would have thought when it was full of low-brow concert halls, brothels and flophouses…
