Oaxaca Old-Fashioned

- 1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila
- 1/2 ounce mezcal
- 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
- 1 teaspoon agave nectar
- 1 orange twist, flamed, for garnish

After making a batch of ginger simple syrup, I decided to make a spicy cocktail-cousin to the traditional margarita. The end result, the Turista, is a fantastic drink that is not only refreshing on a hot summer day, but also slightly warming on a crisp evening.

2oz Añejo tequila
1⁄4oz Mezcal
1⁄2oz Green Chartreuse
2 dash Chocolate bitters
Combine with ice, stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or served with ice in a rocks glass.

1 oz Authentic Curaçao
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
Combine with ice, shake or stir well. Pour into chilled cocktail glass or rocks glass with ice.
