After making a batch of ginger simple syrup, I decided to make a spicy cocktail-cousin to the traditional margarita. The end result, the Turista, is a fantastic drink that is not only refreshing on a hot summer day, but also slightly warming on a crisp evening.
2oz Añejo tequila
1⁄2oz Green Chartreuse
2 dash Chocolate bitters
Combine with ice, stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or served with ice in a rocks glass.

1 1/2 oz tequila (blanco)
1 oz Authentic Curaçao
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
Combine with ice, shake or stir well. Pour into chilled cocktail glass or rocks glass with ice.
